Marc LeBlanc is a seasoned DevOps Consultant with a wealth of experience in automation, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. He has been working with automation since well before “DevOps” became a popular term and has been a formal DevOps Consultant since 2018 when he joined Arctiq, a firm in Toronto, ON.

During his time at Arctiq, Marc has gained expertise in automation tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, and various cloud platforms, including GCP and Azure. He is well-versed in Kubernetes-related areas, such as GKE, AKS, and Anthos, and has extensive experience with deployment techniques using CI/CD tools like GitHub, Argo, and Azure DevOps. Marc’s knowledge extends to adjacent technologies like Vault for secrets management and Service Meshes like Istio and Consul.

As a 2x HashiCorp Ambassador (2022, 2023) and a speaker at HashiConf Global in 2021 and 2022, Marc has a proven track record of accomplishment and thought leadership in the industry. He has helped customers in the telco, financial, and natural resources sectors on digital transformation projects.

Marc’s leadership philosophy is centered around openness, transparency, collaboration, and community. He believes in leading by example, with compassion and empathy, and always striving for excellence. On the technical side, Marc is passionate about all things automation and is particularly excited about the potential of Service Mesh and its role in platform engineering.

When not immersed in the world of DevOps and platform engineering, Marc enjoys spending time outdoors in his rural community, surrounded by his family and dogs.
